To complete the program, registrants will need to watch the videos and complete the accompanying quiz.  You must earn at least 4/5 on each quiz to get credit.  Quizzes may be retaken if necessary.  All sessions and quizzes must be completed to receive credit.  The entire program must be completed within 6 months of registering.

Dr. Melissa Eisenschenck, DVM, Diplomate ACVD
Dr. Joseph Bartges, DVM, PhD, DACVIM, DACVN is Professor of Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, and Nutrition at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.  He received his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Minnesota.  He than completed his residency training in internal medicine and nutrition and a PhD program at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Bartges has published over 100 peer-reviewed texts and has spoken at more than 250 events.  In his free time, Dr. Bartges enjoys music (plays guitar), movies, and trying new restaurants. ​
Dr. Margaret M. Duxbury, DVM, Diplomate ACVB completed he behavior residency at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and became ­board certified in 2005.  She then served as Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota where she ran a successful behavior practice until 2015.  She left the University in 2015 to focus exclusively on helping clients and their pets.  Dr. Duxbury has published numerous papers and speaks nationally on behavior topics. 
Dr. Alonso Guedes, DVM, MS, PhD, Diplomate ACVAA is an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the University of Minnesota.  He graduated from the University of Santa Maria in Brazil and did a combined residency/PhD in anesthesia at the University of Minnesota.  He was an assistant professor of anesthesia at Texas A&M University for 4 years before moving to UC Davis in 2010, and subsequently to the University of MN. His research focus is on pain biology and analgesic pharmacology and he was one of the founding members of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Melissa Eisenschenk, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVD completed her Bachelor of Science with minors in Animal Science and Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.  After vet school, she was in private practice for 4 years in Rochester and Minneapolis, and then returned in 2006 to the University of Minnesota for a dermatology residency and Master’s degree. She passed dermatology board exams in 2009.  Dr. Eisenschenk started Pet Dermatology Clinic in 2013.  She has a husband and two daughters, a cat (Pete), a Lab (Carson), 2 rats, and a bunch of city chickens. In addition to spending time with family and pets, Dr. E enjoys rock climbing, computers, and research.
Dr. Mike McMenomy, DVM graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.  Establishing the Kitty Klinic in 1968, Dr. McMenomy wanted to focus on providing exceptional veterinary care to his all-feline clientele.  For over 50 years, he has done just that.  In the early 70’s he served as one of the first presidents of the newly created American Association of Feline Practitioners. He served as the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association President in 2010 and had the distinction of the receiving the 2014 Veterinarian of the Year Award from the MVMA for his contributions.  Dr. Mike continues to work at his clinic and is helping spread the word about Cuterebra infection in cats.
Sarah Batcher, BS, CVT became certified as a CVT in 2010 while working at the University of Minnesota's Veterinary Medical Center.  In 2011 she began work in private practice where she became Fear Free Certified.  She is a member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians (SVBT) and is pursuing her Professional Dog Training Certification (CPDT) and Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) is Behavior. She is a staff member at Veterinary Behavior Specialties of MN. Animal behavior has been a passion for as long as she can remember.  Her work in private practice has solidified this.
